Olowalu Plantation House, one of the most sought out venues on the island of Maui. A picturesque plantation house sitting on a perfectly manicured lawn with the beautiful Pacific ocean just a few steps away. The tiny town of Olowalu is located on the west side of Maui, just a short 10 minute drive from Lahaina.

During the 1870s, the first operating mill to produce sugar was built in Olowalu. Next to the mill was what we know today as Olowalu Plantation House. This house belonged to the manager of the sugar mill and now serves as suites for the bride and groom. There are four rooms and two bathrooms in the house. Three out of the four rooms are equipped with air conditioning (a must in Hawaii). There is a full kitchen for all your catering needs and a spacious lanai overlooking the oceanfront lawn. Not only does this private estate offer many photo opportunities, but just a short walk from the property lies a jetty where you can get the best photos during golden hour!

Although this venue is on the pricier side to rent, it is worth every penny! Don’t hesitate to reserve your date, they do book out far in advance. A small intimate wedding or a large one, this venue would be the perfect backdrop for your Maui wedding.
