Each and every wedding day at Hotel Wailea is open to the couple’s vision. You’ll have the option of deciding how to customize your space and the inclusions for your wedding package. As Maui wedding planners, we often walk our couples through each step to help them decide the elements most needed for their wedding day, and what they can leave behind.

Additionally, Hotel Wailea Weddings come with access to 15 acres of sculptured tropical gardens. Having the ability to capture your wedding photos with complete access to the grounds, and a sprawl of gorgeous tropical Botanics curates an unforgettable wedding photography experience!

Furthermore, wedding ceremonies at Hotel Wailea take place on the Sunset Lawn. An open clearing with panoramic views of the ocean for you and your guests. Bringing the spirit of Aloha, to your stylish and creative wedding day.

Catering for Hotel Wailea Weddings

All Hotel Wailea weddings are catered by their in-house staff. Their culinary team creates global-fusion dishes using fresh, locally grown ingredients. In fact, many of the ingredients used in their delectable catering experience, are grown in-house at Hotel Wailea’s orchard.

Wedding Reception Spaces Available at Hotel Wailea

There are seven unique spaces to choose from when planning your wedding reception at Hotel Wailea. Each with it’s own layout, design, and capacity.

Anuhea Room

This cathedral-style setting is elegant and framed by the coastal landscape in either direction. Additionally, the Anuhea Room comes with access to the Terrace in order to allow your wedding guests to mix and mingle between the unique indoor-outdoor seating arrangements.

Total Capacity | Up to 100 guests, including the use of the Terrace

Availability | Couples may access this space from 9 am 10 pm

Sunset Lawn

As mentioned above, the Sunset Lawn is an ideal location for a wedding ceremony at Hotel Wailea. However, this space also provides its manicured laws and ocean views for wedding receptions.

Total Capacity | Up to 250 standing guests or up to 150 seated guests.

Availability | Couples may access this space from 9 am to 10 pm

The Treehouse

A truly unique private experience, The Treehouse at Hotel Wailea is set within a canopy of mango and avocado trees. It features ocean views and a single table setup. Intimate weddings at the Treehouse at Hotel Wailea come with a private, seven-course dinner menu, overseen by the Chef. Wine pairings are also offered upon request.

The Birdcage

The iconic Birdcage at Hotel Wailea features an open-air lounge and bar. Sunset views make this space an incredible option for your cocktail hour or ideal for an intimate wedding reception dinner.

The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea

For weddings with a larger-sized guest list, Hotel Wailea offers their onsite restaurant. Set high atop the hillside, the Restaurant at Hotel Wailea offers views of the three Hawaiian islands and seating in the lanai or garden. It’s a truly elegant setting befitting grand and intimate weddings alike.

The Lanai

Want to experience panoramic views during golden hour on the day of your Maui wedding? The Lanai offers a picturesque setting in every direction topped off with ocean views and palm trees gently swaying in the breeze. This space can be sectioned off for intimate events. Or, it can used in totality to accommodate the maximum number of guests allowed.

The Garden

Are you dreaming of a Maui wedding reception where you dine under the stars with a moonlit backdrop? The Garden at Hotel Wailea provides an open-air space, at any hour of the day. The landscape is lush and tropical and views include the cascading waterfall adjacent to the terrace. This space is for intimate gatherings and provides eight tables.
