Elise and Pete’s wedding day is like something out of a dream. Their love story is timeless, but the approach we took with the design of their day was very modern. This allowed us to create a dreamscape where romance met tropical elegance. Moments from their wedding day were steeped in tradition and brought about by those who love them most. It’s ironic, in a sense, the way the varying elements of their wedding washed together. In a sense, Elise and Pete’s wedding was an abstract representation of the shoreline of Maui’s west coast. The exact location where they promised their love & devotion to one another.

Planning and designing a wedding where your timeless love story meets modern decor & details is all about striking a balance. For Elise and Pete, it was very much about creating complementary contrast color palettes for each touchpoint of their day. The bridesmaids wore varying hues of vibrant tropical-shaded gowns, while the groomsmen were distinguished in forest green linen suits. Floral arrangements custom crafted from in-season blooms embodied the beauty of the island. Each of these touchpoints created an element all its own that blended seamlessly for a cohesive experience.

Guests entering the reception were met with vineyard tables accented with floral arrangements & fresh pineapples. A silent nod to welcome them into the celebration of Elise and Pete’s story. As the sun began to set over the horizon of the neverending sea, the al fresco reception was all a glow with lanterns and festoon lights. Elise and Pete heard beautiful words of love from guests toasting in their honor and spent the night dancing in each other’s arms under the night sky.
