The Westin Maui Resort & Spa offers over 20 different event spaces to host your wedding ceremony or reception. The spaces available for your wedding day can accommodate anywhere from 50 guests all the way up to 800 guests. However, there are a few spaces in particular at the Westin Maui that provide an amazing wedding day experience with stunning views of the water. Additionally, the Westin Maui can host your ceremony only, or your ceremony and reception. We’ll detail each of the spaces we love, along with the requirements for booking, and more.

Ceremony Only Weddings

Looking for a location to host your wedding ceremony in Maui? If your wedding reception venue is already selected and you require a venue to host your vows, the Westin Maui does allow for ‘ceremony only’ weddings. If you are able to book your wedding ceremony with the Westin Maui within 12 months of the date of your wedding, the hotel will waive their typical requirement of also having a room block.

Ceremony & Reception Weddings

For a wedding ceremony and reception experience at the Westin Maui, there is a minimum requirement of 50 guests in attendance. For this experience, the Westin Maui Resort and Spa does require a room block with a minimum of three nights. Booking a wedding venue in Maui that provides accommodations for you and your guests can prove tricky and sometimes stressful. This provides a stress-free experience for couples who are planning a Maui destination wedding.

Dining at Your Westin Maui Wedding

The Westin provides a fabulous on-site food and beverage service to couples and their guests. The venue has an executive chef on staff who is at the helm of a highly trained culinary team. They are ready to delight your senses by creating a customized wedding menu that reflects your tastes, preferences, and cultural traditions.

Amenities

You may be curious to know if your wedding at the Westin requires rentals such as tables and chairs. The venue does provide tables and chairs. Additionally, they also provide a full suite of audio and visual components needed to make your wedding day run smoothly. However, if you have a specific wedding day vision in mind and the provided amenities do not match the design of your wedding, Maui Love has the ability to source additional rentals from our trusted network of vendors to carefully curate the wedding vision of your dreams.

Hokupa’a Ocean Front Lawn

Weddings directly on the beach are not permitted at the Westin Maui. However, beachfront weddings with unobstructed views of the coastline are. At the Westin Maui, you can host your guests on the oceanfront lawn. In total, this space allows room for up to 60 seated guests.

Suite 288

Suite 288 is a honeymoon suite, ceremony site, and reception space all in one. The exclusive suite is located in the luxury Hokupa‘a Tower and features an expansive lanai with stunning ocean views. You’ll also find the suite offers a private hot tub and hammock and can host up to 20 guests for your pre and post-wedding gatherings.

Aloha Pavilion

This space is highly recommended for weddings with over 50 guests. Much like Suite 288 it also provides stunning ocean views with a side of swaying palm trees for a covered outdoor wedding day experience.

Westin Maui Wedding Cost

While we wish that we could provide you with a direct number to this question, the truth is that the total cost of hosting a wedding at the Westin Maui will be different for each couple. The final cost will depend on various factors such as your total guest count, whether you are hosting a ceremony only or a ceremony and reception, and of course, your dinner menu.
